Here
at Vertical Dance pole exercise schoolâ„¢ we are working towards achieving recognition for
pole dancing as an Fitness form and to remove the stigma attached to
its origins. Pole dancing is a graceful, acrobatic exercise that
requires not only physical skill and technical ability, but poise,
grace and elegance. KT Coates goal is to remove the
stigma attached to pole dance, bringing the art form into the
mainstream arena, providing top class group fitness teaching in a
fun and friendly environment.
Vertical Dance is at the forefront of
the pole fitness industry and a member of the Register of Exercise
Professionals. Now in its Third successful year, expanding its team
of pole exercise instructors and support staff, Vertical Dance is constantly
producing new ideas for the Vertical Dance industry, such as online
pole dance lessons, a pole fitness forum, free video's and exclusive
members areas, pole dancing competitions and the worlds first
official qualification in Vertical Dance. We hope to expand further with the
opening of our long awaited pole dance studio and dance school. The
production of our first of two pole fitness DVDs has just been
completed and is due for release in September 2007, with our second in
December.

The Vertical Dance Team
STACEY
Stacey
has been dancing for 3 years and teaching for Vertical Dance for 18 months. She is a
fully qualified CYQ exercise to music instructor and holds an NCFE
in Vertical Dance, she has her first aid Certificate,
a PPL licence and pole dance public liability insurance. Stacey fell into the pole dance industry with a
little push from her sister KT and has never looked back.
Not a naturally sporty person she
found is difficult to keep fit until she found she had a flair for
the pole. Stacey is an incredibly graceful Vertical Dancer and an inspiration to all around her. She
currently teaches beginner to intermediate classes in Stevenage and St Albans
and is an invaluable member of the Vertical Dance Team.
JOANNE
Mad Jo has
been a student with Vertical Dance since our first lesson. She has worked her
way up to beginner advanced level. Jo has a CYQ exercise to music qualification,
First Aid certificate and has public pole dance related
liability insurance and uses PPL free music. Joanne has performed at
the miss pole Princess Competition in 2006 and at Pole Unity in 2007. She is a
great teacher with a lovely sense of humour and a best friend to the
Vertical Dance team.
