Vertical Dance would like to invite all pole dancing schools from around the world to take part in Pole Unity 7pm Saturday 28th June 2008 @ The Wyllyotts Theatre in Potters Bar, Hertfordshire, UK. The event is a celebration of all styles of pole fitness and dance. It is NOT a competition, but a show case of pole dance instructors and students. We wanted to give every one the opportunity to show off their skills in a non competitive environment. To participate we ask the following:

* You must belong to a pole school or group
* Your group must consist either instructors and/or students
* There must be a minimum of four and a maximum of eight
* Your show case must be choreographed, themed, with corresponding music and you must be in costume.
* Your show must be no longer than 3.30 minutes

The Pole Unity 2007
On Saturday 23rd June Pole Dancing schools from around the world came together to perform at the Wyllyotts Theatre for the Make A Wish Foundation. This was the first event of its kind in pole dance history. The requirements for the event were that each school must have between 4 and 12 students/teachers perform a choreographed, themed show for five minutes as part of a show case to celebrate all genres of pole dancing. Vertical Dance wanted to give students the opportunity to perform in front of an audience, with out the element of competition, we wanted everyone to feel like a winner!
