All paper work must be filled out correctly and all rules adhered to.
All information must be returned to Vertical Dance by 10th January, all
information received after this date will not be included in the event
and you will not receive a certificate of participation (this will be
downloadable).
All sponsorship money must have sponsorship forms filled out. The cash
must be collected by the director of the school and converted in to a
cheque, all cheques must be made payable to the charity chosen by every
one
that has placed a vote on the Vertical Dance Forum (please see below)
and returned to Vertical Dance to collate.
Raising Money
Vertical
Dance were extremely proud to organise the World Record Attempt in 2006.
We received a beautiful official certificate to commemorate the event,
so this year we would like to offer the official Guinness Book
of Records
certificate to the school who raises the most money for charity. Last
year one school alone raised over
£2,000 so we will be looking to beat this amount in order to qualify.
So fill out the school form to receive your World record membership
password to access down load able sponsorship forms, the world record
routine and all of the information needed to take part in this
prestigious event.
Which Charity?
Once you
have returned all of your sponsor money, please email us and we will
send you a Vertical Dance certificate
of participation. It is the head
of the schools responsibility to distribute this to the participants,
not Vertical Dance.
Please note, we can not guarantee that we will be
featured in the record books as there are so many entries per year
the
book is just not big enough, please also be aware that if they do list
us it will NOT include everyone’s name that
took, again the book is just
not big enough. Guinness only send 1 official certificate, this will go
to the person/school
that raises the most money.
