The International Pole Federation (IPF) is an alliance of pole dancers from around the world.  It is governed by an International Board of leading dancers and pole dance/fitness school owners who are each supported by their own local Boards.

The vision of the IPF is to connect pole dancers worldwide and to inform on news, events, and standards in all facets of the industry, as well as to invite discussion of issues and ideas.  The IPF aims to grow the international pole dancing market to benefit all dancers.

The IPF will not be restricted to or dictate any one “true” style, but rather recognise and promote the benefits offered by ALL forms and styles of pole dancing. This includes pole styles that focus on fitness benefits, artistic expression, instruction for exotic dancers, and pole for fun/personal enjoyment. It is the IPF’s intention to promote the pole dance industry as a whole without reservation or judgment on the style of instruction/dancing offered by each individual company.

The IPF is currently represented in Australia, Belgium, Canada, Japan, Singapore, The Netherlands, UK and the USA by some of the most well known faces of pole dancing world-wide.
