Hi there everyone,
I've been looking into getting a pole for awhile now and I've joined this forum to get some information about what to look for/avoid/etc, since you all seem to know your stuff! I hope to find something soon since it looks like so much fun, but it seems that shipping and tax/duties can cost as much as a pole itself sometimes!

I live in the US and couldn't find a supplier in the States, so I know what you mean! But I can guarentee that your pole will be worth every penny you spend. Once you start, you get addicted!

Welcome to the community and best of luck finding a pole :) If you're looking on some information about each type, check out the Dance Poles and X Poles section...I wish I had looked there before I bought mine, there's LOTs of good info

Welcome Luckycharms!! Great place to come for advice - I totally agree with Danceinside, there's a tonne of great advice in that section. Also make sure you check out the vendors pages directly. A lot of them offer explanations about the different types of poles and what each one offers.
